Ain’t He Busy Y’all

Ain’t He Busy Y’all

Ain’t He Busy Y’all

“Be sober-minded: be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” I Peter 5:8 ESV

“The enemy is busy” is a phrase often used in Christian contexts to describe the active, strategic efforts of Satan or spiritual forces to derail a person’s life, faith, and peace.

Ain’t he busy y’all? Heck yes, the enemy is busy, trying to both divide and conquer! He has a job to do when it comes to the race of men. And yes, friends he is working overtime to create confusion and distraction to keep us from focusing on the Good Lords purpose in our lives.

The devil is busy” is a phrase often used within to describe evil, temptation, or chaos that is actively interfering in our lives. It suggests that negative occurrences, personal trials, or overwhelming distractions are orchestrated efforts to break our faith, peace, or focus.

Have you ever heard the quote, “If the devil can’t make you bad, he’ll make you busy?” It means he will use those distractions to keep us from focusing on God, family, or purpose. So, Why Does the Devil Like to Keep us Busy? Because he does not want us to focus on our real source and that’s Jesus Christ.

My friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, put your helmet on. Protect your mind. The Scripture tells us, “Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusts in thee.” Isaiah 26:3

Remember friends, we are each other’s keeper and the only time we should be looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.

Standing on the Rock

Standing on the Rock

Standing on the rock

“And the LORD said, ‘Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock.” Exodus 33:21 NIV

I would like to dedicate this to the loving memory of David Nelson Kozak. To my daughter Cherelle Kozak, Lisa Kozak and family, and Larry, Robert, Kathy and family. My prayers and thoughts are with you all as you process things in your own way. He lives on through you my beautiful daughter. Love Momma.

What is a rock? It’s defined as a solid natural occurring mineral. Rocks come in many shapes and sizes. Some are mountain big and others can fit in the palm of your hand. Let’s talk about the rock of God. This Rock was made to support our weights. Thank you, Jesus. Whatever you carry in your rucksack, in your heart or on your mind, no matter how we may feel or what we may be going through friends God can carry it. Life is filled with twist and turns, highs and lows, ups and downs. But through God’s Holy Word, we find daily comfort on our journey. He is our leaning post and when we stand on the rock of His word, we will see that he will, supply, apply and stop by.

Remember friends, we are each other’s keeper and the only time we should be looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.

Thank You For Being A Friend

Thank You For Being A Friend

Thank You For Being A Friend

“Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice.” Proverbs 27:9, NIV

When I think about friendships, they been few and in-between for me. However, over the years God has sent some of the most wonderful, warm, and caring people into my life. We don’t talk every day, but when we do, we just pick up where we left off. All I can say with a smile is “thank you, God, you really know how to pick’em.” To those whom I am blessed to call friend, thank you for bringing out the best in me.

Today I would like to dedicate this podcast to Kimberly Mays and Janice Bradford. We have been group chatting for more than 5 years. It’s just a thing we do, checking on each other and sharing the ends and outs of life.

To those who have been a friend,

Here are some flowers just to say thank you for being a friend. I appreciate your kindness and caring ways. Thank you for taking the time to pray for and with me. And I can’t forget about the loads of laughs and smiles you bring to my day. You do my heart and mind good. And yes, your hugs, both in person and phone airwaves are the stuff of legends. Thank you for lifting my spirits, with a friendly reminder, to trust God who will make everything alright. Thank you for being a friend. I am grateful God sent you, my way. “Thank you, God, you really know how to pick’em.” Amen.
