I was asked the question, “Why do you pray?” With a smile, I said, “Because it’s important to have a relationship with the Lord. There is always enough room for me and my stuff. It builds my faith as I watch in awesome wonder at how God can change anything. It is the place where I can take the needs of family, friends, and the people of the world. When I feel alone, prayer comforts me like nothing and no one can. I cannot always express it with words; sometimes it’s a hum through the day or in the midnight hour. Prayer is the key to the kingdom and it is our faith that unlocks the door. No matter what anyone thinks about it, no matter what comes our way, I am never gonna stop praying.”
