Back in the Saddle

“Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you.” Proverbs 4:25 NIV

I had a great vacation everyone. The hardest part is preparing to get back in the saddle. According to the Cambridge Dictionary, it is defined as doing something that you stopped doing for a period of time. “Work.” It felt great to just let it go.

The Idiom, which is rooted in horseback riding, specifically the act of getting back on a horse after falling or being thrown.

It also represents overcoming a setback by shaking it off and getting back on task.

My favorite parts of the trip were the views, beach. And yes, I did put my toes in the cool water and warm sand. I also enjoyed the good food, seeing family, and shopping for sea turtle stuff.  I don’t know what it is, but I just like sea turtles.

There was no hurry up and go, it was just taking our time and enjoy the view.

God I just want to say thank you again for My vacation. You took us out their safely and brought us back the same way. As I prepare to get back in the Saddle, I do so with a thankful heart and clear mind.

Remember friends, we are each other’s keeper and the only time we should be looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.
