Children are a Gift

Together in kindness and in understanding, let’s take this time to self reflect. I am here to inspire, encourage, and remind you that God has given us the most important weapon we have to fight the enemy, his word.

Now lets dress our souls like we dress our body, EVERYDAY!

Children are a Gift

“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” Psalm 127:3 NLT

I am a proud momma! My beautiful  22 years old daughter will soon be graduating from college. Where has the time gone? As I sit this morning looking at all the different pictures of her through the years, I give thanks to God for blessing me with her. I knew one day I would have to let her go and find her way in this world. Prayerfully trusting you to give her guidance and direction.  I think to myself, how will she grow if I don’t let go.

I am reminded that years ago I asking my grandmother how she did it, raise 8 kids. She looked at me with a loving smile and said, “with the help of the Good Lord and when they all got grown, I gave them back to him.”  Such wisdom my grandmother had. She reminded me of the importance of giving everything over to the Lord, including my child.

Let us thank God for our children as we love, nurture, and celebrate them. They are a gift.

Remember we are each others keeper and the only time we should be looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.
