Giants: Time
Hello Friends and Welcome
This is a place where you can be yourself. Together with kindness and understanding lets take this time to self reflect. I am here to inspire, encourage, and remind you that God has given us the most important weapon we have, his Word.
This week we have been talking about Giants. Today we are going to conclude this topic with one more Giant, TIME.
“Now lets dress our souls like we dress our bodies, EVERYDAY.”
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1
The early bird catches the worm, time waits for no one, time is money, better three hours to soon than a minute too late, the most powerful warriors are patience and time, lost time is never found again, and time is the most valuable thing a man can spend are all popular quotes when it comes thinking about time.
Do you ever get so busy that you feel like there’s not enough time in the day? Well I have. It can leave you feeling drained, overwhelmed and stressed out. There has to be a better way to get things done without going nuts in the process.
Here are some suggestions on how we can spend our time.
Spending time with God. This builds up your prayer life. It can be anywhere and anytime. Reading his word is necessary for spiritual muscle, sound guidance, and truth. There is comfort and peace for our mind knowing that God is with us and will help us deal with whatever comes our way.
Spending time with yourself. It all should start with a self assessment of how you are doing. Your well-being should be apart of your daily routine. Take the time to rest and relax. Making yourself a priority is not being selfish. Loving yourself will bring more awareness, transparency and peace into your life.
Spend time helping others. There is nothing like those sweet unplanned random acts of kindness. Those kind acts can be for our family, friends, co workers or even the cashier at the grocery store. We never know what someone may be going through. So you take the lead with a smile, hello how are you, sending out positive text message to a friend or family member, and a FaceTime chat with your siblings. Those simple and thoughtful gestures can positively impact their day.
Spending time Laughing. Laughter is the best medicine for our souls. Laughter boost immunity, improves heart health, relieves stress, and clears the mind. Be willing to find joy in imperfection and the freedom to laugh about it. Nothing like laughter. I must admit it sure looks good on you.
Don’t wait to get the most out of your time. There’s no time like the present.
Until next time, “We are each others keeper, and anytime that you are looking down on someone it should be when your helping them up”
