Do You Know What To Day Is?

Do You Know What To Day Is?

Together with kindness and in understanding, let’s take this time to self reflect. I am here to inspire, encourage, and remind you that God has given us the most important weapon we have to fight the enemy, his Word.

Now let’s dress our soul like we dress our bodies, EVERYDAY!

Do You Know What Today is?

“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” I Thessalonians 5:18 NKJV

When my youngest sister was little, I often would tell her stories from my imagination as we traveled the road with our parents. She enjoyed my stories so much that she never went to sleep before I got to- The End. When my daughter was in kindergarten I created books for her called, “what if’s.” There was a what if for everything. What if I have a substitute, what if I have to go to the nurses office, what if I miss you were just a few of the titles I came up with. They were simple construction paper books with crayon words and pictures. She looked forward those homemade books. They were thoughtfully made with love. Seventeen years later, our mother-daughter visits are filled with plenty of talking and eating as she shared those positive what if kiddie books memories with me. Naturally it brought a smile to my face as I said, “you remember.”

My mother bought me my first diary as a birthday present when I was in the fourth grade. As time went on I would fill it with plenty of wants and question for Mr. Christ. Through the years writing has provided me with a place to put me. That diary was the beginning of prayer in my life. It still sits on the shelf with all of my other favorites books.

Do you know what today is? It’s my book anniversary. Today marks one year that my book, Out of the Belly has been released. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year. What a wonderful gift God has given to me, not to squander or hide, but share. I have learned so much on this written journey. This is just the beginning as I prepare for a summer release of my next book, The Armor Project.  I am so thankful to the Good Lord for his guidance, direction, and all the resources he has provided to me. I am proud of myself. I encourage you to never give up on your dreams and goals. Remember the race we run is about endurance. You can’t win it, if you don’t say in it. You can do all things through Christ strengths you!

Remember we are each other’s keeper and the only time we should be looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.
