Merry Christ-mas Y’all

“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners-of whom I am the worst.” I Timothy 1:15 NIV

In the verse I have chosen today, the apostle Paul considers himself to be the “foremost” or “chief” of sinners. The verse summarizes the mission of Jesus who showed that God cares for those who were considered sinners.

Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem. He was born with a mission and purpose. The true meaning of Christmas is love. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Jesus came into this world, and yet while we were still sinners, He paid it all by dying for us on Calvary’s Cross. May this Christmas holiday be a reminder to you of the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for us all.
