2025: Faith, Hope, and Love

2025: Faith, Hope, and Love

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to five you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

I pray that everyone had a fantastic Christmas. Are you ready friends? 2025 is just around the corner. These days the world is filled with concerns and uncertainties. Even with all the stuff going on today, God does have a plan for us, His people. Today’s passage suggests several thoughts when I think about the word mindset.

first, make the most of every situation. Second, live life with a purpose. And third, trust Gods timing.

My friends as we walk into the new year, we do so with faith in our actions, hold your head up, standing tall, with our shoulders back and your eyes open. You can do all things through Christ who is your strength. Take these thoughts with you as you head into the new year:

  • If you want a rainbow you gotta have rain.
  • It’s okay to cry, your human.
  • Master the art of doing absolutely nothing.
  • Life is about having a plan B through Z.
  • To expect a miracle, you must first believe.
  • Smile even when it hard or hurts.
  • Happiness is an inside job.
  • When life becomes a roller coaster climb into the front seat, throw your arms up and enjoy the ride.
  • Open yourself up to a friend who wants to help.
  • Look for the best in others.
  • Exercise your faith.
  • Whatever you are be good at it.
  • Believe in your heart that you have the RIGHT to be happy and then choose it!

As we prepare to step into the new year we are not going alone. God is right there with us, every step of the way.  Amen.

Remember friends, we are each other’s keeper and the only time we should be looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.

Commit

Commit

Together with kindness and in understanding, let’s take this time to self reflect. I am here to inspire, encourage, and remind you that God has given us the most important weapon we have to fight the enemy, his Word.

Now let’s dress our soul like we dress our bodies, EVERYDAY!

Commit

Proverbs 16:3 NKJV

Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.

All of those works that we hold near and dear, every plan, thoughts, and decision we make in our lives, have the potential for greater success, when we put the Lord first.  The word commit, means to carry out, pledge, to bind to or certain course. When we commit to God, it is all about action. The word commit in Hebrew means “to roll.” EVERYTHING on our “to do list” is in that rolled up ball. Instead of us trying to handle it on our own, we must roll it on over to God. Commit + Works = established.

Sure, I have been guilty of selectively giving my issues over to Him. However, I did come to realize that those hidden nooks and crannies that I called myself handling were only holding back my progress. When I completely depended on God in all of my works, he established me. What does the word establish mean? Set up, permanent basis, achieve permanent acceptance or recognition for. Doesn’t that just put your soul at ease dear hearts? For me, the very idea of knowing my commitment to God, will “bring about”change is all the more reason to let him have EVERYTHING in my life. Can I get an Amen?!

Commit friends is giving EVERYTHING over to God. Let his thoughts take hold of your mind as you prepare to be amazed. First, we need our daily bread as we fill our my mind with God’s word. Second, pray about everything, and in everything pray. Third, get your thoughts and ideas on paper as we answer the question, what’s the plan?Fourth, commitment is about holding our self accountable to our decision to see it through. Fifth, our you looking to where all of your help comes from? Is your mind stayed on the Way Maker? Sixth, rejoice! for the Best is Yet to Come regarding You! (I’m dancing right now) Seventh, give credit where credit is due. God did it! (I’m still dancing)

Remember we are each other’s keeper and the only time we should be looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.
