No More Tears

No More Tears

No More Tears

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelations 21:4 NIV

The scripture I have chosen to share today holds a promise of restoration, where the current world will pass away and God will bring about a new reality. The promise that God will wipe away every tear is accompanied by other things that exist in our current world that will be done away with in the world to come.

Life in this world is a mixture of good, bad, sad, mad, ups. downs, and roller coaster, which forces us to grapple with various emotions. There are tears, sorrow, pain, suffering, sickness, death, accidents, and natural calamities. Like Marvin Gaye song, it makes me wanna hollar. But we as believers are not without HOPE.

Hope my friends is defined in scripture as a confident expectation and trust in God’s promises and character, leading to a belief in future blessings and a renewed sense of strength.

Let me leave you, my aunts, uncles, and family with this scripture, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5. To me there is nothing more comforting and hopeful than those words. This verse has helped me up, held me up, and built me up. It has carried me through many days.

Let us continue to lift each other up in prayer as we always seek peace, encouragement, and support for one another. Amen.

Remember friends, we are each other’s keeper and the only time owe should be looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.

Standing on God’s Word

Standing on God’s Word

Standing on God’s Word

“I promise that my Spirit and my words that I give you will never leave you. They will be with your children and your grandchildren. They will be with you now and forever.” Isaiah 59:21 ICB

Even with all the people in the world, its can still feel like a very lonely place. It can seem like no one understands or gets us. And that’s okay, because God does “get us” and His Word assures us we are never alone, no matter what. You know He has plenty of “rams in the bushes.” Take comfort in knowing, that God’s Word will never leave nor fail us.

The Word of God has been in existence since the beginning of time. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. No matter the season friends, it is our source of hope and comfort. Not only for us, but for our children and grandchildren. God’s Word is a necessary Holy invasion of the spiritual kind for our minds, as we respond in action through faith. Yes Lord send me, I will go!

“Lord thank you for your Word. It is our Daily Bread. Help us to stand with are feet planted firmly in your Word.  No matter what we may be going through, you are one read away. Help us to take your Word and place it in our hearts and mind. Let it move us to have courage, patience, and faith as we stand on your living Word today and everyday. Amen.”

Remember friends we are each other’s keeper and the only time we should be looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.

Hope

Hope

Together with kindness and in understanding, let’s take this time to self reflect. I am here to inspire, encourage, and remind you that God has given us the most important weapon we have to fight the enemy, his Word.

Now let’s dress our soul like we dress our bodies, EVERYDAY!

Hope

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines hope as: a desire accompanied by expectation of or belief in fulfillment or success.  Biblically Hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised and its assurance that is based in our faithfulness. In other words, “There is no doubt about it!”

Here are a few thoughts and verses on hope:

Hope is Never Lost, “For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?” Romans 8:24

We can be Confident in Hope, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1

True Hope comes from God, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

Hope is a Gift, “And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:5

Hope Endures, “There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.” Proverbs 23:18

“Where there is no vision, there is no hope.” George Washington Carver
