Speed Bump
Speed Bump

“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,” James 1:19 NIV
So, what is a speed bump anyway? It is a raised traffic calming device in the road, designed to force vehicles to slow down significantly around 5-10 miles for improved pedestrian safety in areas like parking lots, campuses, and residential zones.
In the slang it means, any minor obstacle, delay, or temporary problem that slows progress but doesn’t stop it entirely.
What does a speed bump look like from a Christian prospective? Sometimes, with the distractions and busyness of life, we don’t always realize we need to slow down, but our loving God who keeps an eye on us, has a way of stepping in to slow us down.
Remember Friends, we are each other’s keeper and the only time we should be looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.
