Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,    for I have put my trust in you.Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. Psalm 143:8 NIV

As we jump into this new year, we do so with the desire to rise to all kinds of challenges, both internally and externally, professionally, personally, and spiritually. The truth is, whether you’re knee-deep in laundry, wrestling through anxious thoughts or feeling spiritually dry, your heart might be whispering: “I need a reset.

The beautiful truth is that God, in His grace, specializes in renewal. Throughout Scripture, we see stories of people who encountered the grace of a divine reset not because they had it all together, but because they turned back to Him with weary hearts.

What does it mean to RESET? This involves setting something again, it can be an often original or a new starting position, encompassing actions like restoring, repositioning, a personal fresh start, and a new beginning. In Hebrew the word reset means to go back to zero.

Now keep in mind that the enemy is busy, just like he was last year, but we have a choice about listening to his rhetoric and foolishness. That’s it friends, put your helmet on! Cause we are not listening to his this and that! Amen!

The Reset Mindset:

  • Focus Forward: Sets goals and moves toward them.
  • Action-Oriented: Implements solutions and completes tasks.
  • Resilient: Grows from new knowledge and overcomes obstacles.
  • Empowered: Believes in their ability to overcome.

Remember friends, we are each others keeper, and the only time we are looking down on someone is when we are helping them up.
